Short biography
Dr. Luis Kato Maldonado is Senior Professor Researcher in the Department of Economics at Metropolitan Autonomous University - Azcapotzalco (UAM-A). He earned his B.A. from UAM-A and his master's and Ph.D. in Economics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). His research focuses on financialization, macroeconomics, industrial organization, science and technology policy, and structural crises of neoliberal capitalism.
