Short biography
Dr. Mehmet Perinçek was born in Istanbul in 1978. He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law. He conducted research at MGIMO (2005–2006) and Moscow State University's Institute of Asian and African Countries (2010–2011), where he has served as visiting professor since 2017. He has conducted research in Russian and Soviet state archives for over two decades, authoring multiple books on Turkish-Soviet relations, the Eastern Mediterranean, and regional geopolitics.
