Short biography
S. Güneri completed his bachelor's at Ankara University, Department of Ancient Languages and Cultures in 1983. In 1987, he had his master's degree at Atatürk University, Archaeology Department. In 1995, he received his doctorate from Archaeology Department at Hacettepe University. Between 2009 and 2019, he studied petroglyphs in the Mongolian Altai region. For the last five years, he and his students have been studying on the cultural relations between East Asia and Near East.
