Du Donghui is an Assistant Professor at the Department of History, Shanghai University and a researcher at the Center for Turkish Studies. In 2021, he received his PhD degree in World History from Shanghai University and conducted postdoctoral research in Political Science at Fudan University (2021-2023). He was also a visiting scholar at Marmara University in Türkiye (2018-2019). His main research interests include Türkiye's foreign policy and international relations in the Middle East. He has published several academic articles in journals such as Chinese Journal of European Studies, Journal of World Peoples Studies, West Asia and Africa, Historical Review, Forum of World Economics & Politics, Journal of Shanghai University.
