Li Sainan is a master’s student majoring in English Translation at the School of Foreign Studies, Northwestern Polytechnical University. She has published one academic paper. Her research interests include Middle Eastern area studies.

Li Xi holds a Ph.D. in World History and is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Foreign Studies, Northwestern Polytechnical University. She serves as Director of the Center of Jordanian Studies, Academic Advisor to the academic journal Belt & Road Initiative Quarterly, and a member of the Council of the Chinese Society of Asian and African Studies and the Chinese Society for Middle East Studies. Her research focuses on Middle Eastern area studies. She has conducted research and study visits in Libya (2007–2008), Jordan (2015), and Israel (2015–2016 as a CSC joint Ph.D. student). She has led three projects funded by the National Social Science Fund and the Ministry of Education, five provincial projects, and two Xi‘an municipal projects. She has participated in four major National Social Science Fund projects. She is the author of one monograph and has published thirty academic articles in journals such as Studies in World Religions, World Religious Cultures, Arab World Studies, and Ningxia Social Sciences. Provincial and ministerial government agencies have adopted sixteen policy consultation reports she authored.
