Biography
Yu Haijie is an assistant research fellow at the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies, the Center for West Asian and African Studies. In 2018, she completed her doctorate at Shanghai International Studies University, the Middle East Studies Institute. From January 2019 to March 2021, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the Fudan Institute of Belt and Road & Global Governance. Her research fields include Middle East political economy and diplomacy, the Belt and Road Initiative and the Middle East, and Turkish studies.
