Wenbo Zhang (Associate Professor, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences) currently works as Director of the Research Office for International Comparative Studies of Sustainable Development, Institute of Ecology and Sustainable Development, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences. He completed his undergraduate education in land resource management at Jilin University and earned his PhD in Population, Resource, and Environmental Economics from Sichuan University. His academic publications include two books and more than ten articles on international environmental policy instruments, low-carbon policies, and Ecological Civilization.
Quan Heng is Secretary of the CPC Committee of the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences. He has been a visiting scholar of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, the Department of Economics at Jawaharlal Nehru University, and Taiwan University. He serves as a Distinguished Advisor for Decision-making Consultation to the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government and Vice President of the Shanghai Economist Association. His research focuses on political economy with Chinese characteristics, the world economy and development economics, and China’s economic development and income distribution.
