Dr. Yang Chen is Associate Professor at the Department of History, College of Liberal Arts, Shanghai University and Executive Director of the Center for Turkish Studies at Shanghai University. He has published two books about Türkiye and various articles in journals such as Critical Sociology, Sociology of Islam, Belt & Road Initiative Quarterly, Arab World Research. He works on political Islamist movements in Türkiye, party politics in Türkiye, Türkiye’s foreign policy and China-Türkiye relations.

Ma Jinting is a master’s candidate majoring in Political Science at the College of Liberal Arts and a research assistant at the Center for Turkish Studies at Shanghai University. Her research interests primarily focus on Türkiye’s Politics and Diplomacy.
