Biography

Semih Güneri completed his bachelor's at Ankara University, Department of Ancient Languages and Cultures in 1983. In 1987, he had his master's degree at Atatürk University, Archaeology Department. In 1995, he received his doctorate from Archaeology Department at Hacettepe University. Between 2009 and 2019, he studied petroglyphs in the Mongolian Altai region. For the last five years, he and his students have been studying on the cultural relations between East Asia and Near East.
Ayça Avcı completed his undergraduate education at Süleyman Demirel University, Department of Public Administration. He completed his first master's degree in epistemology at the Department of Philosophy at Akdeniz University and prepared his thesis on the comparison of naturalist and spiritualist philosophies of history by Ibn Khaldun and Giambattista Vico on the Philosophy of History. He completed his second master's degree at Dumlupınar University in the Department of Archeology and wrote his thesis on the sacred tree motif found on Mesopotamian cylinder seals. He is currently doing his doctorate in Archeology at Dokuz Eylul University and is preparing a thesis on Lena-Yenisei Neolithic cultures.
Ahmet Z. Bayburt completed his undergraduate education at Dokuz Eylül University, Department of History. He completed his master's degree at the same university in the department of archeology with the thesis "Central Kazakhstan Late Bronze Age Begazı-Dandıbay Culture: Environmental Relations and Origin Problem". Currently, he is continuing his doctorate program at Dokuz Eylul University in the department of archeology.
