Dr. Ali Şahin
İstanbul University

Dr. Ali Şahin completed his undergraduate education in Anthropology at İstanbul University-Faculty of Letters. He received his master’s degree at Istanbul University- Institute of Ataturk’s Principles and Reforms. Şahin earned his PhD in same department with his dissertation entitled “The Turkish revolution perceptions of the leftist currents of thought from 12 March to 12 September: 1971-1980” in 2012. His publications include a book, entitled “Great Separation of the Left, Kemalism, Atatürk, the Turkish Revulation”, as well as many articles on Turkey’s near history, history of political thought and movements of thought in the recent period. He is also pursuing his academic studies at the same institute.
