Dr. Nora Maher is an Associate Professor of Political Science and Head of the Department of Political Science at May University in Cairo. She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science and International Relations from Cairo University. Dr. Maher specializes in International Relations and Strategic Studies, with a particular focus on Middle East politics, Arab–Israeli dynamics, security studies, foreign policy, migration, and social movements. She has published in several peer-reviewed journals, including Contemporary Arab Affairs, Policy Perspectives, Review of Economics and Political Science, and Asian Perspectives. She is the author of two books on Israeli foreign policy. Dr. Maher has taught at institutions including the British University in Egypt, the American University in Cairo, and Université Française d’Égypte, and serves as a reviewer for multiple international journals.
